Lena Krenke was born in Moscow in 1975. Since 1999, she has made her home in Prague, where she is a fully qualified instructor in Iyengar yoga, and has recently embarked on a degree course in physiotherapy.

Lena’s love of foreign cultures is extensive, and she has studied and travelled in France and Italy, whose influences can be seen in her love of European cuisine and art.

The piece we hold in the collection is a unique work, representing her debut into the world of figurative drawing.
