Narine Arakelian

Narine Arakelian is an Armenian artist based in Venice and Los Angeles. She studied fine art in Moscow before taking a year-long internship at the Digital Arts Department at the Los Angeles Academy of Art.
The artist draws inspiration from her experiences around the world to inform her unique artistic practice. Beginning with classic academic art studies her work evolved into multi-media contemporary art including performance, virtual reality, digital art, glass and metal sculptures, light boxes, silkscreen, gold leaf paintings, installation and environmental art.
Ms Arakelian has participated in a series of exhibitions curated by Aidan Salakhova at the Vinzavod Contemporary Art Centre, ArtPlay, The Museum of Moscow, The Shusev State Museum of Architecture, and The Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, Italy.
