A multidisciplinary artist in the truest sense, Teodor Tezhik’s international reputation extends to film and theater design as well as painting. Many of his paintings employ a dark impasto redolent of a visceral, mechanical worldview. Yet from out of the dark emerge things of beauty - a jewel-like bird's nest, or, here, the ovoid symmetry of a featureless divinity.
