Skoba
Mikhail Polyakov
Polyakov has chosen a well-known viewpoint in Nizhny Novgorod, the so-called 'Skoba'. From left to right, one can make out the white tower of the church of Saint John the Baptist, the redbrick 'Bugrov' shelter built in the 1880s for the city's homeless, and the imposing walls and towers of the city's Kremlin, dominating the landscape.
